The Yoga Of Doing Nothing

far above the city of clouds
on the acme of a mountain aloof
Gods have built a kingdom of peace
fortified by castles of solitude.
there dwells a yogi enlightened
liberated soul, immersed in beatitude
hush and smile adorns his face
"Doing nothing" is his sole pursuit.

taste of world entice him no more,
his eyes see beyond terrestrial goal,
Sky is his roof and the earth his bed,
his musings have escaped the desire's thrall.
One with the sun, the flower and the breeze,
Vastly he exist in union with all.

With every breath the present is touched
through present he drinks the ambrosia called life
no worries of past, no plans of future,
in present he exist, for present he strives.
self has broken the cage of shallow existence
Joy immeasurable and the bliss is rife.
